The Next Century of Opera

Then: For more than 50 years, the Opera performed at the Cincinnati Zoo Pavilion

Since 1920, the Cincinnati Opera family has grown and changed, with the love of opera passing down from generation to generation. We no longer have to compete with the sound of trumpeting elephants or the call of peacocks the way we did at the Cincinnati Zoo; but the art, drama and music still draw people of all ages to fall in love with the timeless stories and glorious singing.

Kingston Fletcher, a founding member of the Society of Angels, called his a "gradual love affair" with opera, and he is not alone. It is the longevity and stability of Cincinnati Opera that has allowed so many to pass on their love of opera to new generations.

The commitment of Kingston, and his many fellow Angels, has helped to provide Cincinnati Opera with the solid financial standing needed to confidently plan for our next 100 years of opera in Cincinnati.

By including Cincinnati Opera in your estate plan, you are a part of building the legacy and tradition of live opera in our community. Generations to come will thank you for helping them build their own love affair with this incredible art form.
